Let us pray . . .

Template Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be always acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemer. (Psalm xix. 14, 15)

When the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. (Ezek. xviii. 27)

I acknowledge my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me. (Psalm li. 3)

Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities. (Psalm ii. 9.)

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who of his great mercy hath promised forgiveness of sins to all those who, with hearty repentance and true faith, turn unto him; Have mercy upon you; pardon and deliver you from all your sins; confirm and strengthen you in all goodness; and bring you to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Lord open thou our lips.

And our mouth shall show forth thy praise.

Praise ye the Lord.

The Lord's Name be praised.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy Name, O Most high.

To tell of thy loving kindness early in the morning, and of thy truth in the night season,

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the lute; upon a loud instrument, and upon the harp.

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy works; and I will rejoice in giving praise for the operations of thy hands.

GOD be merciful unto us, and bless us, and show us the light of his countenance, and be merciful unto us; That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations Let the people praise thee, O God; yea, let all the people praise thee.

O let the nations rejoice and be glad; for thou shalt judge the folk righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Let the people praise thee O God; yea, let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth bring forth her increase; and God, even our own God, shall give us his blessing. God shall bless us and all the ends of the world shall fear him.

The Lord be with you.

And with thy spirit.

Let us pray.

O Lord show thy mercy upon us.

And grant us thy salvation.

O God, make clean our hearts within us.

And take not thy Holy Spirit from us.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place, and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Praise to thee, O Christ, Returning King

King of Kings, Lord of Lords, King forever, Judge of the whole world, Temple of heaven, Light of heaven, Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End, maker of all things new.

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

O GOD, from whom all holy desires, all good counsels, and all just works do proceed: Give unto thy servants that peace, which the world cannot give; that our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments, and also that by thee, we, being defended from the fear of our enemies, may pass our time in rest and quietness; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

O LORD, our heavenly Father, by whose Almighty power we have been preserved this day; By thy great mercy defend us from all perils and dangers of this night; for the love of thy only Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

O LORD, our heavenly Father, the high and mighty Ruler of the universe, who dost from thy throne behold all the dwellers upon earth; Most heartily we beseech thee, with thy favor to behold and bless thy servant The President of the United States, and all others in authority; and so replenish them with the grace of thy holy Spirit, that they may always incline to thy will, and walk in thy way. Endue them plenteously with heavenly gifts; grant them in health and prosperity long to live; and finally, after this life, to attain everlasting joy and felicity; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, from whom cometh every good and perfect gift; Send down upon our Pastors and deacons, and upon the Congregations committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace; and, that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honor of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Almighty God, who hast given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications unto thee; and dost promise that when two or three are gathered together in thy Name thou wilt grant their requests; Fulfill now, O Lord the desires and petitions of thy servants, as may be most expedient for them; granting us in this world knowledge of thy truth, and in the world to come life everlasting. Amen.

(Here's where you add in what you want.) Gracious Lord, we ask that you would give my prayer partner a clear mind today as he prepares for his many teaching times this week. Bless other people because of and through him.

(Here's where I add what I want.) We ask that you would let my prayer partner be a blessing to each person he sees today. And, I ask that you would let others be a blessing to him too.

THE grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all evermore. Amen. (2 Cor. xiii. 14)
